Wow, I am so sorry it has taken so long to update this blog. I took a very long and much needed break over the holidays to recharge and not work long (and late) hours. I plan to add some new items to my shop soon but first wanted to let you know how excited I am that Etsy has just launched their new collaboration with Google Analytics. Hooray! I am a stats junkie, and worked in the Online Advertising world ever since I graduated from college so I was psyched to see that Etsy finally made the leap to offer these important site analytics. I've been soooooooo darn curious how people reach my shop, so I'll be keeping a close eye on my reports from now on.

I love being a graphic artist. And I absolutely love my Mac! I use my computer in countless ways each day. Not only does it produce all of my artwork, but it also allows me to enjoy all my photographs, keeps my business organized, and helps me communicate with the world.
I recently came across a new ad campaign produced by Nvidia on Speakvisual.com. Nvidia makes graphics cards for computers (all new Macs ship with them) & the idea behind this campaign was for various artists to talk about their artistic process and how computers and Nvidia help them. One of my favorite bloggers and photographers, Raya Carlisle, was a part of the campaign. You can see her sound byte here. It is really fun to listen to so many of the featured artists and small business owners describe how they use computers in their work or their art. It's so inspiring to listen to these people talk about their fun and creative careers!
I've been experimenting with lowercase letters for some of my Mod Monogram Prints. Because I like to overlap the letters, there are often cases where the composition looks better when one of the letters is lowercase.
I just love the color combination of baby Hayes' room. The bedding is from Serena & Lily, so I was able to take a photo of the bedding and match the colors perfectly.
Due to the custom nature of my collection and the volume of orders during this holiday season, any order placed between now and December 31st will not be completed until mid to late January. This is because of the lead time I need in order to complete each project, and so that I may close my studio for a bit to enjoy a Christmas vacation. I appreciate every single order and take my time perfecting each and every one! The only exception is that Mod Gift Certificates are still available before Christmas, and ship out the same day as you place the order.
I am working on some brand new prints for my 2009 Collection which I am hoping to debut in late January. Stay tuned!
